Wanted: Field Technologist
Koers & Associates Engineering Ltd. is looking to add technical depth to our company to support our expanding workload on Vancouver Island. We are currently seeking a Construction Technologist with a strong background in municipal infrastructure. Experience with inspection and survey layout would also be considered an asset.
The Position:
The successful candidate will generally be responsible for field review duties as well as contract administration
support. Tasks will cover all aspects of the infrastructure construction cycle including:
• Construction inspection, including job reports and photo logs,
• Progress payment preparation and contract administration assistance,
• Contractor and client coordination,
• Material Testing coordination,
• Data collection and record drawing preparation.
The Candidate:
The candidate will have significant practical and progressive field experience. The position may also be suitable
for a candidate looking to work on a part-time or contract basis. Preference will be given to those with the
following:
• Registration as an AScT (an asset, but not required),
• Quantity measurement and contract administration experience,
• Possession of a valid BC Driver’s license,
• Topographic survey and construction layout experience with a robotic instrument,
